How Do I Know If I'm Current On Dues?

We're coming up on the time of year when lots of us will plan to attend the Winter Meeting, and some of us will want to submit abstracts, nominate folks for awards, and present at the lightening round. You'll need to be a current member to do all these things, so how do you know if you're a member? And how do you know if your membership will extend to the Winter Meeting?

Below are some FAQs to help you answer common questions.

Am I a Member?

In the last few years, UPAC has moved to a web-based system to help the Executive Committee keep track of members, and now we can offer a self-service portal to members to check their membership status. Here's how you do it:

1. Login to the website using your typical credentials

   
   

   

   
   

2. Once you have logged in click on your profile again to find the "My Subscriptions" link.

On "My Subscriptions" you can find what kind of membership you have and when that membership went into effect.

I Don't Have a Profile on the Webpage

If you have never created a profile on the webpage then in all likelihood you are not a current member. You may create a profile on the webpage and pay your dues online to become a member.

The Profile Page Says Recently Paid for a Membership... I Don't Remember Doing That!

Our website uses an automated renewal program for your convenience. You can cancel your membership at any time. If you believe you are owed a refund you may contact us to get that process started.

The Profile Page Says I Canceled My Membership... I Don't Remember Doing That!

If the debit or credit card you used to pay membership dues has changed when the website attempts to auto-renew, then your dues it will show up as a cancellation. No big deal! Click on the "Buy New Subscription" link below your payment information to pay membership dues.

I'm a UPAC Fellow, Do I Need to Pay Dues?

No! Congratulations on your award and as a way for this organization to show it's appreciation you are a lifetime member. If you have gone into your Profile and Subscription pages and do not see "UPAC Fellow" as an "Active" subscription, please email Elizabeth to get that sorted out.

This system is still new, so help each other out and put additional information in the comments that you may think would help people! If you have additional questions, please put them in the comments below and Elizabeth will try to get you answers ASAP.

We are also voting on retaining aspects of this current system by voting on proposed changes to UPAC Bylaws. Please take a look at the proposed changes and vote before Feb 14th!
