CRM Training and Careers Survey

The labor shortage issue in archaeology is getting some attention and press these days. The "CRM Gap" refers to the growing mismatch between what students learn in school versus what they need to know in the real world, as well as the increasing need for CRM professionals that is not being met by numbers of graduates.

Archaeological educators around the state have compiled a survey open to all practitioners in Utah, not just UPAC members, to gauge where they see the biggest gaps and opportunities for improvement. Please take this survey by January 19, 2024 to help our educators make the case for change to their university administrations.
